California teenager Ryder is dragged along to Nebraska for the family reunion of his mother's side of the family. His plans to come out to the family are quashed by his mother, but a confused incident with nine-year-old cousin Molly soon has his uncle accusing him of molestation. Things settle down the next day, but an invitation to lunch with the family from his uncle turns into a tense battle of wills.
